Robert Paris Edwards scrapbook, [ca. 1906-1936].

The collection consists of a single scrapbook kept by Robert Paris Edwards which focuses on his years as choirmaster in Toronto, where he also edited a newspaper; and on Buffalo, where he was president of the local chapter of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. The scrapbook contains playbills for the Coleridge-Taylor Singers, press clippings, correspondence, and an original typewritten poem, "A Credit to my Race," signed by Edwards.
